Some studies have showed that it may help protect your skin from the sun. Also its been researched that it can lower the risk of some cancers. Vitamin C another great benefit of sun-dried tomatoes which is shown to boost your immune system which has been weakened due to stress. Only goes to show what this great tasty food can give you.

Pickles

Pickles a crunchy, dilly and tangy add-on to any sandwich or burger. But pickles have a whopping amount of vitamins and minerals in their yummy crunchiness. Pickles are made up of mostly water and have very little fat or protein which I’d say is a great snack. Vitamin K is a huge part which helps your blood clot and makes your bones stronger. Fermented pickles are full of probiotics a bacteria, which is important for guy health. Cucumbers What pickles are have an antioxidant called beta-carotene, which lowers chances of heart disease, stroke, cancer. Who wouldn’t want to snack on these yummy health saving goodies?

Asparagus

Asparagus my Personal favorite, which is a springtime vegetable known for vitamins, minerals and fiber. Vitamin A is one example of great benefits that this plant holds. The vitamin that feeds your corneas and retinas, which helps your eyes lubricate themselves. It has also been known to prevent eye disease like cataracts or Macular Degeneration. It is also full of Vitamin K and full of antioxidants. One Single serving of asparagus provides enough folic acid the average person needs on a daily intake, which is very important for women in pregnancy. It helps prevent anemia, tingling hands and feet, and even some birth defects. With all these good benefits that it gives you, why not enjoy some?

Wild salmon

Seafood it always a great choice when it comes to healthy eating. Wild salmon comes to mind with it’s great taste to it’s amazing benefits. Even though it has some fats, salmon has many great things that comes with it like protein. One good health benefit is Vitamin B12, which helps your body make blood and nerve cells. The main benefit of salmon is the omega-3 fatty acids. Most omega-3 isn’t produced by your body alone but lowers the chance for heart attack and stroke, cancers, dementia, and Alzheimer's diseases. Experts say all adults should eat at least 2 portions of seafood a week.

Cocoa Beans

Now let’s get to the final food on my list cocoa beans that’s right the yummy bean that makes chocolate. Cocoa is rich in antioxidants call flavonoids, which is great to relax the body and help lower blood pressure. This bean has also been known to reduce inflammation and blockage of blood vessels. I wonder what else this delicious plant can do for your body, mind and soul. I know when I buy some dark chocolate I’ll be happy to know it does a lot of good.
